Why Dr. Gagnon Refers Patients Here
Hi! My name is Randi.
(I promise you'll know more about me in a second).

I understand the unique challenges women face after 50 because at 59, I've lived them myself – and I'm thriving.

When Dr. Gagnon and I first connected, we discussed how many women over 50 struggle with their weight and the health issues that come with it: high blood pressure, prediabetes, joint pain, low energy and more. Some ask about GLP-1 medications but may not be eating the right foods to keep the weight off and go right back to where they started. They need personalized nutrition guidance, not just a handout or generic advice.

Dr. Gagnon refers patients here because she's seen that quality nutrition guidance – delivered by someone with both professional training AND personal experience – can be transformative.

Here’s What Women Experience in Just a Few Weeks
Meet Your Coach - Randi Hogan
Hi, I'm Randi, and I understand exactly
where you are because I've been there.

A few years ago, in my mid 50s, I was right where you might be now: eating "healthy," working out regularly, and still frustrated that the scale wasn't moving and my energy was gone. I was dealing with high blood pressure that had me on daily medication, had herniated discs, rosacea that left my skin red and inflamed, and weight gain that seemed to come out of nowhere.

Midlife changes hit hard, and I felt like my body had turned against me.

When I learned how to fuel myself strategically with plant-based proteins and whole foods – eating enough protein, timing it right for my changing metabolism, and actually eating enough overall instead of restricting – everything shifted.
The challenge I faced – one many plant-based women encounter – is that most nutrition programs are built around animal products. I've spent years mastering how to optimize vegetarian and vegan nutrition for women in our stage of life, addressing our unique needs for bone health, muscle preservation, and metabolic health.

But here's what matters most: I know what it's like to feel like you're doing everything right and still not see results.

That frustration, that sense of "what am I missing?" – I’ve been there. And I can help you find your missing piece through simple, plant-based proteins, balanced meals, and realistic lifestyle strategies that actually work for midlife bodies.
 Common Questions Women Ask
I'm already eating healthy. Why do I need nutrition coaching?
Eating healthy is wonderful, but optimizing it for your stage of life – with the right protein intake, nutrient timing, and macronutrient balance – can be the difference between maintaining your current health and truly thriving. Most of my clients are already eating "healthy" but aren't getting the results they want. The details matter, especially after 50. What worked in your 30s and 40s often doesn't work the same way now.
Do I have to be vegan or vegetarian to work with you?
Not at all! While I specialize in vegetarian and vegan nutrition, I work with women wherever they are on their journey – whether you're fully vegan, vegetarian, eating mostly plant-based, or simply curious about incorporating more plant foods. My goal is to meet you where you are and help you optimize your nutrition in a way that aligns with your values and goals.
Do I need to schedule appointments?
No. Your complimentary week is designed to fit easily into your schedule. We work online and communicate through a private chat, so you can message me when it’s convenient for you. You’ll get daily feedback and guidance without needing to book appointments. The only scheduled part is one 45-minute video call at the end of the week to review your progress and plan your next steps.
How is this different from what my doctor told me?
Your doctor provides your medical care and monitors your health conditions. I don’t give medical advice or replace your doctor's recommendations; I help you put them into action. My role is to make nutrition practical and doable in your daily life. While your doctor tracks your medical markers and overall treatment, I guide you in what to eat, when to eat, and how to build meals that align with your plan and your goals.
What happens after the free week?
After our week together, you'll have the opportunity to upgrade to continued coaching to support you as you implement the plan. But there's zero pressure. This week truly is a free gift to get you started on the right foot with your eating.
What if I'm dealing with multiple health concerns?
That's exactly who this is for. Whether you're working on blood pressure management, building bone density, optimizing energy, navigating menopause, or addressing several health goals at once, nutrition plays a foundational role in supporting all of it. While I don't provide medical advice, I'll help you understand how to eat in a way that supports your health goals and complements your doctor's medical guidance. We'll prioritize based on what matters most to you and what your doctor has recommended.
